Garden Window - mixed media, stencil, alcohol ink, die cuts
A midnight visitor to the garden flits across the stained glass window of the castle. My mixed media canvas features a panel created with crackle paste and alcohol ink. a Tonic Studios fairy, Crafter's Workshop stencil, Tim Holz dies, paper flowers, Cosmic Shimmer, and Distress Oxides.

ATC Rainbow - alcohol marker, alcohol ink, ATC
The Rainbow Troll ATC features a Craftin' Desert Divas set, Weather Gnomes with alcohol marker colouring (Copic, Spectrum Noir, and Nuvo) and alcohol ink painted background (Ranger and Marabu). How else would we get rainbows other than a little gnomette on a cloud with a paintbrush?

Oliver & Olivia - Sheepski Designs, alcohol ink on Gel Press with Nuvo alcohol markers
A new year and a new month! I am happy to still be a designer for Sheepski Designs. This month's blog challenge is Square Cards. For my inspiration project, I used Oliver and Olivia, pairing them with an alcohol ink background created with a Gel Press and Nuvo alcohol marker colouring.

Gel Press with Alcohol Ink
I have become addicted to the Gel Press. The gel plate can do amazing things. I wanted to have a unique background so turned to the Gel Press and alcohol inks to create some.

Kamsin - Sheepski Designs, alcohol marker, alcohol ink
The start of another month! It's October and the challenge this month on the Sheepski Designs blog is Autumn Colours!
For my inspiration this month, I used Kamsin coloured with Nuvo alcohol ink markers and a touch of Nuvo Jewel Drops for her glasses. I paired her with a sentiment from Unity Stamps, a little stencilling, paper lace, and an alcohol ink background.

Purr-fect Wave - watercolour marker, glitter marker, alcohol ink, stencilling, stencil embossing
Alo-ha! Gidget is waiting to catch the purr-fect wave on a card featuring stamps and stencil from Newton's Nook, colouring with Zig Clean Color, Nuvo glitter marker, Crayola glitter maker and gel pen, stencil embossing, stencilling with Cosmic Shimmer Opal paste, and a dash of alcohol ink. Whew! I'm ready for the rise and fall of the waves now.
Life is a Circus - alcohol ink, gift box, art crayon, emboss resist
For an Art Nuvo style gift box, I used a stamp set from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, dies from Spellbinders, backgrounds made with alcohol ink and Marabu art crayons on an emboss resist, and a bit of ribbon.

Birthdays are special, filled with rainbows and magic. My magical card features a wizard from Newton's Nook coloured with Distress markers conjuring a birthday greeting filled with Spellbinders die cuts and embossing, a glittery Simon Says sentiment, and an alcohol ink rainbow.

Magic is the perseverance that lets us achieve what we thought might be impossible. My card features a Lavinia fairy silhouette stamp on a background of alcohol ink and Perfect Pearls accented with 3D impresslits and pearls.

Crafternoon - alcohol inks
I had a great Crafternoon getting giddy playing with and getting giddy alcohol... ink... with my crafty-friend, Betty, yesterday. We had loads of fun chit chatting and creating. I just took pictures of the ones I was doing and the experiments I did with the media.

Friendly Beer - alcohol ink, alcohol ink lift
Sharing a beer with a friend is a good way to wrap up a day. I used alcohol inks and lift with Unity Stamp Co stamps to make my boozy card.
