Happy Hummingbirds - watercolour, masking, stencilling, interactive

My card today is a birthday card featuring stamps, inks, and a stencil from Kraftin' Kimmie stamps, watercolour markers from Color It, and iridescent watercolours from Cosmic Shimmer. Happy Hummingbirds is from the February release from Kraftin' Kimmie and I simply adore this set.

This card is interactive with a retired tab die from CC Designs. Pull on the heart to fly the hummingbird over to the flowers.

Garden Window - mixed media, stencil, alcohol ink, die cuts

A midnight visitor to the garden flits across the stained glass window of the castle. My mixed media canvas features a panel created with crackle paste and alcohol ink. a Tonic Studios fairy, Crafter's Workshop stencil, Tim Holz dies, paper flowers, Cosmic Shimmer, and Distress Oxides.

Flowers - watercolour marker, stencilling

"Friends are like flowers, they always bloom in colour!" Friends are full of life, colour, and make you smile. My card features two stamps sets from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, the sentiment long retired and the Fancy Florals recently back in stock. I used Nuvo Aqua Flow makers to colour and added a background made with a Prima Marketing stencil and Cosmic Shimmer Luna paste.

Wrapping - gel plate stamping, stencilling

Wrapping presents can bring great joy, especially when the scissors seem to shape the paper on their own. I used Cosmic Shimmer paste on a gel plate to print this stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

Stars - embossing, stencilling, stencil embossing

Shoot for the moon and land on a Star! Embossed with pearl and white on black using Kraftin' Kimmie stamps and stencil with Cosmic Shimmer and Perfect Pearls on the inside.

Purr-fect Wave - watercolour marker, glitter marker, alcohol ink, stencilling, stencil embossing

Alo-ha! Gidget is waiting to catch the purr-fect wave on a card featuring stamps and stencil from Newton's Nook, colouring with Zig Clean Color, Nuvo glitter marker, Crayola glitter maker and gel pen, stencil embossing, stencilling with Cosmic Shimmer Opal paste, and a dash of alcohol ink. Whew! I'm ready for the rise and fall of the waves now.

Nature's Heart - stenciling, flocking, watercolour, embossing

Cool green flocking with glitter stencilling is the background for a long-retired fairy and bird from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps coloured with iridescent paint from Cosmic Shimmer.

Surf Day - watercolour, coloured pencil, stencilling

"Hee-hee-hee, Wipe Out!" cue epic drum solo. Newton is enjoying his summer and life one wave at a time. My surf-tastic birthday card features Newton's Nook stamps and stencil with Distress marker and Cosmic Shimmer colouring, Distress Oxides stencilling, and Tombow pencil colouring inside.

Snow has always been magic for me. Snowflakes on my nose and my lashes really are one of my favourite things. I created a mixed media piece with die cuts, embossing folder, stencil, and a bit of crystal accent.
