Just be sure to include a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp and that it's a NEW creation! As soon as we have at least five people playing, we'll be giving away a PRIZE!!! yep! One lucky krafter will WIN a $20 gift voucher to the krafty shop!

You have a whole month to play along until Monday, October 28th at midnight EST!

Check out some incredible inspiration from the Krafty Design Team below, then join us for all the fun!!

Happy Kraftin'!

For my "not a card", I made a box to hold some cards! I used three colours of Kimmie ink to stamp a pumpkin from Grateful Pumpkins then embossed it and added re-inker spray to the background with the embossing as a resist. I added the pumpkin to a box I die-cut and embossed with Autumn leaves.

The box will hold the A2 Kimmie cards I made for the September release so I can give them as a gift.

If you want to know more about how I made my box, check out my detail post: https://rijacki.blogspot.com/2019/09/autumn-box-detail-kks.html.

For my card, I used masking and alcohol markers to make a bouncy girly spider with Monster Mash on a vellum stencil embossed web over a Marbu shimmer spray background panel and a dotty frame.

Inside, I used a sentiment from Scaredy Cats. If you want details on how I made it, check out my other post: https://rijacki.blogspot.com/2019/09/too-cute-detail-KKS.html.

Life is a Circus - alcohol ink, gift box, art crayon, emboss resist

Spring Fae - alcohol marker, stencilling, mixed media

This week's sponsor for the Through the Craftroom Door challenge is Sakuems!

Sakuems is a French self-employed illustrator creating fantasy inspired characters around nature and magic. She has been working on her art for more than a decade and is currently running her etsy store with original watercolor pieces, drawings, high quality prints and coloring book along with other merchandizing featuring her characters.

The prize this week is the 3 images the design team is using for the inspiration projects.

For my project, I used Spectrum Noir alcohol markers with accents of Spectrum Noir metallic pen and Nuvo Aqua Shimmer on the image. I framed it with a Kaisercraft frame I had decorated with Marabu shimmer spray and Nuvo mica mist using stencils from Dylusions and Teresa Collins.

Wonder of Christmas - watercolour, spray mica

One of the hardest things in January is putting away the decorations. The wonder and joy of Christmas should live in our hearts year 'round. My card features Kraftin' Kimmie stamps, watercolouring with Daniel Smith paints, Marabu fashion spray, and layers with CC Designs dies.

Believe - mixed media

This project started with me just playing with stuff at a Crafternoon with a friend and evolved into a magical scene using stencilling, Marabu shimmer sprays, Nuvo Mica Mist, Prismacolor pencils, Finetec mica watercolour painting, embossing, stamping from Hero Arts and Lavinia, and other elements for a mixed media wall hanging.

New Wonders - Sheepski Designs, stencilling, vellum, mica spray

New wonders and new beginnings are what we should look for each day. The new year truly does bring us 365 new opportunities. Butterflies are often a symbol of reincarnation, a blossoming of a new life while shedding the old. My card features Flutterby by Sheepski Designs painted with Marabu shimmer spray along with stencilling also with the shimmer spray.

Come join us for the Sheepski Designs blog challenge! The theme this month is New and/or Old. You can make something new or, since the new year is often a time for reflection, you can link up a project you previously made.
