World of Wonder - watercolour with ink, stencilling

This little girl is concentrating so hard to catch the wonder of the world around her, or at least just a butterfly. The image is from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps that I watercoloured using Krafty Kolors inks. The background is a stencil from Visible Image on which I also used Krafty Kolors.

New wonders and new beginnings are what we should look for each day. The new year truly does bring us 365 new opportunities. Butterflies are often a symbol of reincarnation, a blossoming of a new life while shedding the old. My card features Flutterby by Sheepski Designs painted with Marabu shimmer spray along with stencilling also with the shimmer spray.

Pink Hope - mixed media with resin cast items, embossing, and stenciling

October is breast cancer awareness month. Cancer SUCKS! All who have it, and their families, need to have hope to fight, to survive.

My project today is a plaque with mixed media elements, a message of Hope in pinks using a Unity Stamps set, stenciling, resin pieces I cast, Distress ink, embossing on acetate, all on a wood plaque.

Let Your Dreams

This effusion of butterflies is my latest mixed media art piece. It began with a challenge, use a patterned paper, and a thought about starting forward on one's future.
