Bear Hugs - embossing 3 ways

Autumn brings snuggly huggly weather. My card features Kraftin' Kimmie stamps, a Sizzix die with embossing folder, a Stampin' Up 3D folder, and heat embossing on a CC Designs die cut tag.

Putting It Together

Autumn colours bring the beauty of winter close behind. My fav time of the year.

I stamped the huggable bear on Mi Teintes with brown ink and coloured him with Koh-i-Noor pencils.

I die cut and embossed a piece of white mat board with a Sizzix set and used Distress ink to give it realism.

I dry fit the bear and balck embossed sentiment on a plaid die cut tag on the wood with a white panel for sizing.

I decided to use the sketch from a challenge for my card.

I used Tattered Angels to spray and drip on a kraft panel. I then ran the panel through with the Subtle 3D embossing folder for a bit of texture for the background.

I dry fit everything on a kraft card base and it was missing... something.

I used Glue Dots to adhere the wood and foam mounting tape under the bear and sentiment to give them dimension.

Inside, I used another stamp set to add a wood stump and leaves for fun details.
