Autumn Hugs - Distress Oxide spray, stencil, coloured pencil

Autumn days can be rather chilly, so I'm sending big hugs to warm you on a card with a Distress Oxide stencilled leaf, Kraftin' Kimmie stamps, Koh-i-Noor coloured pencil, and a touch of Perfect Pearl shimmer.

Today we are celebrating all the new goodies that are available NOW from our SEPTEMBER Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! All FOUR new clear stamp sets are NOW available over at the Krafty Shop, along with our new BERRY BLISS inks, TWO new Krafty Stencils and our new Holiday Krafty Dots! Yaaaay!

First up we have a new set from artist, Cheryl Grant called LEAVES ARE FALLING.

Then we have TWO new clear stamps set for September from artist, Melissa Baker-Nguyen called CHRISTMAS SEALS and HOLIDAY WISHES!

Next up is a super jolly holiday set from artist, Neda Sadreddin called ELF-TACULAR!

And lastly is a super sweet set from a brand new artist and Krafty Team member....Sabrina van Vloten called YOU'RE A SQUEAK-HEART!

Also available now is our brand new Hybrid Ink colour in the large ink pad, mini cube and ink refill and it's called BERRY BLISS!

We have two new stencils that are perfect for all your new creations called HOLLY and SO MANY CIRCLES!

And lastly we've got new KRAFTY DOTS!! The new set is HOLIDAY DOTS!

I decided to showcase Leaves Are Falling, using the boy and his pumpkin and pup, and pair it with last year's Grateful Pumpkins. I used a gel plate and stamping for the background and, once again, ink watercolour for the image. Inside, I added a sentiment from each set and a pumpkin from Grateful Pumpkins.

For the month of September, I am a Guest designer on the Kraftin' Kimmie design team! This means I get to help showcase sneak peeks for the September release!

It's Day FOUR of our September Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

We are especially thrilled to share today's stamp set with you because....we have a brand new artist!!
If you're familiar with our Krafty Design team, then you will recognize this name.....it's SABRINA VAN VLOTEN!

Several months ago I saw some little doodles that Sabrina had added to one of her KKS creations and I said...did you draw that?! And those doodles sparked the inspiration for her very first stamp set!!! Here it is.... 

YOU'RE A SQUEAK-HEART!

This adorable stamp set features a set of MICE!! I mean...could they BE any cuter??!! The set comes with several main images in some super sweet poses plus several accessories and some awesome coordinating sentiments!

Of course, today is also Challenge Day and as always, during release week the theme is Anything Goes! So create a card, scrapbook page, altered item.....with a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp! Use any sketch, design, colour scheme you want!

We can't wait to see your creations and you have all week to play along (until September 20th) and we'll announce the winner at the end of the month! For my card, I used a Lawn Fawn interactive die set to make a magic picture story. Say cheese!

Pull the slider up to see the mousie with a slice of cheese.

And inside, the belly full mousie. How very mice of you! You're such a squeak-heart!

Bear Hugs - embossing 3 ways

Autumn brings snuggly huggly weather. My card features Kraftin' Kimmie stamps, a Sizzix die with embossing folder, a Stampin' Up 3D folder, and heat embossing on a CC Designs die cut tag.

Autumn is a time of harvests and thanks.

Though the Craftroom Door's blog challenge is sponsored by Di's Digi Designs this week. I used the Scarecrow Bear to create an Autumn Thanks.

Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with likeminded people.

I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself. 

This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and it’s just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

Snoozy kitty and mouse, just perfect for an Autumn day. My card features a House Mouse image coloured with Prismacolor pencils and embellished with Autumn loveliness.

Celebrating the fan who is celebrating his favourite team, my card features an image from Bloobel (sadly the shop is now closed) coloured from Prima watercolour pencils.

Follow the Path - stamp layering

Autumn is a time of wonderful colours. Some of my favourites are from the maples along with the whirly seeds. Even as an adult, when I see those seeds on the ground and after quickly looking around to see no one is watching, I pick them up and toss them into the air to see them whirl around as they fall.

Fall Bookmark - watercolour pencil on paper leather

Autumn is my second most favourite season (winter is my fav). It's a time of harvests and the scenery being painted with a brush of many colours as the leaves on the deciduous trees change lose their green. It's an amazing time of magic all around. The weather is also cooling down with a smell of chill in the air.

Bountiful Blessings

When I saw this digital stamp offered by Eureka Stamps, I fell in love with it. I love the elegance of the mallard in cattails. I combined the digi with watercolouring and traditional stamps to create a clean and simple card as a birthday card for my brother.
