Peace On Earth - Die cutting

My card today features a new die from Stampin' Up and Stampin' Up stamp set from last year along with ink and coloured cardstock from Stampin' Up accented with other items from my stash.

Putting It Together

I like Stampin' Up products but don't bring them out often enough to use in my projects. I try to make a point of doing at least one primarily Stampin' Up project each month, in addition to the make and take at my demonstrator's monthly gather.

I used the Blizzard die from the current Christmas/Seasons catalogue with a pearled cardstock. I kept the snowflakes to use on other projects. I decided to matte the cut-out background with Pacific Point because I also have that ink. I used a stamp from a set that was in last year's Christmas catalogue and used a CC Designs die to trim the sentiment panel. This ribbon from my stash matches the colours so beautifully.

I added everything to a white card base, popping up the sentiment with foam mounting tape. I then added clear silver rhinestones to the centres of the snowflakes for a bit of bling. I left the inside blank for this card.
