Flowers - watercolour marker, stencilling

"Friends are like flowers, they always bloom in colour!" Friends are full of life, colour, and make you smile. My card features two stamps sets from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, the sentiment long retired and the Fancy Florals recently back in stock. I used Nuvo Aqua Flow makers to colour and added a background made with a Prima Marketing stencil and Cosmic Shimmer Luna paste.

Putting It Together 

I feel a little bit like I was in a marathon, but of my own making. I've done a flurry of cards for challenges and an online krop sponsored by Kraftin' Kimmie stamps. This is the last one for the krop, combining more than one stamp set. I've done that on most of the cards I made this week, but I am making a unique project for each challenge. It's usually more challenging for me to use only one set, but I was having a hard time coming up with an idea for this.

Fancy Florals is back in stock. It's a lovely stamp set with potted flowers and some loose flowers, too. I stamped with Totally Taupe and coloured with Nuvo Aqua Flow watercolour markers for a 'no lines' look.

I stamped the sentiment across the pot and used foam mounting tape to pop up the potted flowers on a stencilled panel I made a few months ago when I was trying the Luna paste I bought. I added them to a white card base and left the inside blank.
