My card full of sunshine to brighten a dark day features stamps and dies from Impression Obsession.
Putting It Together
I love it when a challenge instantly pops an idea into my head.
I did a dry layout to see if the Geometric Cutout would fit with the sunshine.
I cut Sunshine thee times from a heavy white cardstock. I used the Glue Sponge to stack them. I also tried using it for non-heat foiling.
With the adhesive on the Sunshine, I covered it with the foil sheet.
The Glue Sponge adhesive dries too quickly to work well with foiling. The foil only stuck in a few places.
To fix it, I used a Zig glue pen to add adhesive in spots and press on the foil.
The end result is more mottled than I first intended but I am rather pleased with how it turned out.
To place the stamps, I used the angel from the Misti Creative Corners.
I used the glue pen to adhere the sentiment to the card front from which I had cut the Geometric Cutout. I dry fit it over the gold glitter panel and felt it was missing something.
I used the L from the Creative Corners to add black lines with a pen.
The black lines give the edges a nice finish.
Inside, I used a background stamp with coral and yellow ink to add a soft design.
I added a sentiment to the inside. I love this sentiment and try to remember it when I am feeling down.
