Shop-a-holic - alcohol marker, patterned paper

Hi, I'm Rijacki and I'm a shop-a-holic, well, only a little, maybe. My shopper card features stamps, inks, dots, and stencil from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps coloured with Nuvo alcohol markers and Tombow coloured pencils with a Memory Box die and papers from BoBunny, Hero Arts, and Lawn Fawn.

Putting It Together

I actually have a hard time doing something with more layers and embellishments. So... counting the card base, 7 layers ;-) Thee patterned papers, too, BoBunny, Hero Arts, and Lawn Fawn. 

I stamped the image with Granit Grey on Simon Says cardstock and used Nuvo alcohol markers to colour.

I added some details with Tombow pencils.

After fussy cutting the image, I started looking at papers. I wanted to do a bit of layering so pulled out a few different papers.

I decided on these papers and added a Memory Box die. I fell in love with this die the first time I saw it and bought it over a year ago but am finally using it for the first time in one of my projects! (I have a tag in Evernote for items I have acquired but haven't used yet to help me use my stash and not just warehouse it.) I did a dry fit to see how it would fit together.

I trimmed the die cut, putting some of the trimmed flourishes on the top, and added the sentiment on a die cut panel to my dry fit. I used the lovely Pink Pizzazz for the sentiment.

I love this backgound. The colours came together wonderfully. I used liquid glue on the flourishes and tape runner on the rest. I added a thin blue mat to finish the look.

I added the image and sentiment with foam mounting tape and put everything on a white cardbase. I added Kimmie enamel dots and Nuvo Morning Dew crystal drops to the puppy nose and her glasses.

Inside, I did some soft stencilling with Lovely Lagoon and stamped the sentiment with Pink Pizzazz.
