Today we are kickin' off our AUGUST Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! We've got a new background stamp set to share with you today! I'm joining in the sneak peeks as one of the guest design team.

This super creepy set is from artist

Happy hoppin' and we'll see you back here tomorrow for more amazing new stamp sets!

My card featuring the new stamp set is a single layer card which I coloured with Prismacolor pencils. I added sentiments and more from other Kraftin' Kimmie sets.

Putting It Together

I actually like making single layer cards, especially when they practically put themselves together.

I stamped the image with Marvelous Mocha on a top folding kraft card base and took it to my day job along with my Prismacolors. At lunch, I coloured up the house.

Back at home, I was pleased the sentiment from the long retired Spook-tacular set fit perfectly.

But, when I stamped, I was just a little off to one side. To add balance, I decided to add a bat from the Harvest Blessings set. And... I stamped the bat upside down! Ooops. But.. he's like the bat from Fern Gully, he should be able to do loops and fly upside down :-)

Inside, I added another sentiment from Spook-tacular (I wish this set would make a komeback in the shop), added some more bats, one of which I deliberately stamped upside down, and a jack-o-lantern.
