Wine! - rescue

Boozy cards are fun to make. I love the snarkiness of this sentiment from Unity Stamp Co: "Alcohol because no great story started with someone eating a salad."

Putting It Together

Sometimes I don't really like a card I've just made. It will bug me, even if I can't put my finger on to why. This card came out one such card. But, instead of one card, I made two.

My original card included another stamp from Unity that I had watercoloured, but the layout just wasn't clicking with me. I changed my mind and used the watercoloured image on another card: Wine Too.

Instead of the girl, I added two ribbons, one on top of the other and some glittered enamel dots. I feel much better about this and more of the fun background paper shows, too. The ribbons are a retired linen ribbon from Stampin' Up and one I got from Micheals a few years ago.

Inside, I embellished the sentiment with a die cut glass of wine and a strip of the patterned paper.
