A happy birthday for a little girl full of hearts, a unicorn, pink, and fun, with paint splatter and stenciling on the background die.
Stamp set, die, and stencil from Simon Says Stamp.
These are not affiliate links just the products I use and where you can find them, too (if they're not retired).
The background die cut for this card actually made two cards, one for the positive and one for the negative. The other card is Love You: http://rijacki.blogspot.com/2017/08/love-you.html
I wanted some texture in the die cut background so I started with a stencil. I used the Circular Lace stencil with Cosmic Shimmer on a white panel.
The lace pattern is gorgeous with a bit of texture.
I ran the stenciled panel through the Big Shot with the Floating Hearts background die.
I separated this into the negative and positive. The negative I used on another card.
I dry fit the floating hearts on the blue panel.
I used a box to contain the splattering.
I tapped the brush with paint with the back of another brush to splatter Distress paint and stain drops on the blue panel: Mermaid Lagoon paint, Picket Fence paint, Tarnished Brass stain, and Brushed Pewter stain.
The splattered panel.
Floating hearts dry fit over the splattered panel.
I embossed the unicorn with silver and then painted the mane, tail, and hooves with Pink Gumball Perfect Pearls.
I die cut "Happy Birthday" from silver and white and ran them through the Xyron. I used the bone folder to rub the adhesive.
I stacked the silver on the white to give a little dimension and a slight drop shadow.
I added the unicorn with foam mounting tape and added a cupcake and enamel dots. I clipped off the shank of the button to allow it to sit flatter on the card and adhered it with a Glue Dot.
Inside the card I stamped the cloud burst and sentiment from the same set using Simon Says Stamp hybrid cubes.
