A breezy bunny is on my card today. I lightly coloured the adorable House Mouse stamp with Distress ink and added it to a panel coloured with Nuvo Mousse and embellished with a fun Simon Says Stamp background die.
Putting It Together
After stamping the image with dark brown ink on watercolour paper, I used Distress ink and a water brush to add a little colour.
For a background, I used Nuvo embellishment mousse on a white panel. It works great with the blender tool. Since I wanted a mottled look, I kept it light. The mousse dries so fast!
I then ran the panel through the Big Shot with the wonderful Stiched Whirl die from Simon Says Stamp. I wanted to have a background that looked like air eddies.
I dry fit the bunny and a sentiment from a long retired Kraftin' Kimmie set.
I decided to keep it all very simple. I stamped the sentiment in dark blue on a small die cut and popped up both the sentiment and bunny with foam mounting tape.
Inside, I added a "Hoppy Birthday" sentiment and balloons keeping with the blues.
