A glittery puppy to with you a happy birthday! This card features an Elizabeth Craft Designs die cut, Silk microfine glitter and birthday paper.
Putting It Together
I've had this puppy in my stash for a while. Today seemed like a good day to bring him out.
I covered a small bit of cardstock with adhesive sheet and then die cut the puppy outline. I die cut the puppy lines from release sheet and placed that over the adhesive puppy.
I dumped black Silk microfine glitter on the puppy,..
... brushed off the loose glitter, and...
used my finger to burnish the glitter into the adhesive.
After removing the release paper, I dumped on rust Silk microfine glitter,
brushed, and burnished the rust.
The eye balls are a separate die in the set, with the pupils cut out.
I added adhesive to the eyes and put them in place for an adorable puppy.
The die set comes with the collar and tag, bone, and tongue. I cut them from scrap. Te set also comes with a nose die, but I didn't cut that for this project.
I added the puppy to birthday paper using foam mounting tape under the puppy and the first layer.
Inside, I added scrap from the party pad and a sentiment from a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp set.
