Putting It Together

One of the themes I like most is achieving one's dreams, believing in oneself. These are, to me, important to keep in mind always.

I started this card with a die-cut dove. The Spellbinder's die is a two-step process. First to cut the die and then, with the impression pad and silicone rubber, run though again to emboss the details. I cut the dove from Neenah cardstock, Champagne Pearl.

Using the blending tool, I added Distress Ink to the dove to transform it: Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon, and Chipped Sapphire along the edges.

I cut a panel of the same Champagne Pearl and used a stencil with Cracked Pistachio to add visual texture to the background.

Adding the colour in varying amounts with the circles die resulted in a soft background.

I dry fit the 'dream' stamp from Emerald Creek, Kelly Creates, and the dove.

I used Sweet Valentine embossing powder from Emerald Creak to emboss the 'dream' on the background.

I snipped pieces of foam mounting tape to add to the back of the dove, to be able to pop it up on the card. 

I attached the back panel directly to the card base and added the dove over. 

I stamped the inside with one of the sentiments from Your Next Stamp, Congrads.
