Birthday Balloons - Sheepski Designs freebie for Kit & Clowder 20K celebration, Prismacolor on kraft

Kit & Clowder is celebrating having reached 20,000 members of the Facebook group!! Joining in celebration, Sheepski Designs is offering a freebie! Andrea created Liz with balloons to join in the celebration.

For my inspiration card, I made Liz into a birthday card. I used Prismacolor pencils on kraft and embellished with a die cut from Simon Says Stamp. Inside I used a sentiment from Unity Stamp Co and balloons from a Kraftin' Kimmie set.

Kit & Clowder September pencils class

I've been subscribing to the Kit & Clowder classes for a couple months but hadn't taken the time to just sit down with them and colour. I was sick last week and have been recovering this weekend, so it was a great time to do no stress colouring. I opened up the September pencils class and, following with Alyce, I made loveliness with this month's focus on flowers

The Kit & Clowder classes are well worth the price. Not only are they heaps more detailed than most Youtube videos (she colours along with you, most of it in real time), but Alyce gives a lot of encouragement as well. Snow Queen

A shadow box of silvery paper frames a lovely snow queen with her pet unicorn. The image, Calling for Snow by Ching-Chou Kuik, was a given a way free as part of the Kit and Clowder Advent Calendar 2016 on Facebook. I painted the image with Distress Inks as watercolours and created a shadowbox for the frame.

The steps in "Putting It Together"  (LOTS of them) go through some of how I painted the image and steps I used to make the shadowbox frame.
