Rainbow Bridge - Copic colouring

It can be very hard losing a loved one, no matter if they walk on two feet of four. A beloved pet "crossing the rainbow bridge" is no less a loss to be mourned. My card features a stamp set from Kraftin' Kimmie coloured with Copic markers.

Putting It Together

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is celebrating 12 days highlighting the stamp releases from the year. Furry Angels is one of the sets which was released in January.

I stamped the dog with angel wings with brown on Neenah 110lb cardstock.

I coloured the image with Copic markers. I added to my collection last summer with a few garage sales sponsored by local scrapbooking stores, but I still only have a meagre collection.

I added touches of Aqua Shimmer gold to the wings and fussy cut the image.

I added thin glitter washi tape in a diagonal on a white grasscloth panel.

I left the tails of the washi long on the back to help anchor it.

I ran the panel through the Big Shot with an embossing frame. I then used the gold Aqua Shimmer to the embossing for a subtle frame.

I then adhered the panel to a white card base and added the image with foam mounting tape for a bit of dimension. I stamped the sentiment with black.

Inside, I  stamped a second sentiment and paw prints with brown.
