Graduate

One of my coworkers just graduated. This card was inspired by him and will be for him (I just have to remember to take it to work on Monday).

This card features graduation stamp sets by Unity Stamps, a background stamp by My Favourite Things, embossing and Perfect Pearls.

Graduation

It's that time of year when students done robes and a hat with a flat top and tassel. They'll walk up, shake a hand or two, and receive a piece of paper saying they're all done with this phase. The tassel is worth the hassel; it's a symbol of the struggle not only to learn the material in the courses but also to learn how to learn, to learn how add more information into the mental database and also to retrieve it when needed, and to learn how to evaluate the information and assess its needfulness for the situation. Hat's off to you, dream big, and go out and find your journey.

Brave Wings

Today's project is a retirement card with a Distress Ink background in greens and with a 'graduation' sentiment inside. I chose a stamp from a graduation set as the inside sentiment because of the words. It can be tough leaving behind a job you've been doing for so many years, leaving behind memories, but it really is, like graduates, looking forward to the future flying on brave wings.
