The Shot - Prismacolour pencils

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps newest release includes this fun set, Stacey Slapshot. I coloured the image with Prismacolour pencils and paired her with glitter paper, embossing, and snowflake die cuts.

Putting It Together

I was going to be one of the guests for the design team, having bought the surprise kit in December, but that plan was derailed by other events. So... I get to use her now :) For her hockey gear I used Canuck colours 'cause I live in the Vancouver area.

I used Simon Says Stamp premium dye ink in Fog to stamp the image to do a no-lines colouring with Prismacolour pencils. Quite the laundry list of pencils! I'm so happy I got the full set mid-December. Now I just need a case to make the collection less unwieldy :) I've been practicing my pencils and gaining confidence.

I fussy cut the image with a narrow margin because of the fiddly details.

I embossed glitter dotty paper from Micheals and like the subtle snowflakes. 

I die cut snowflakes from glitter cardstock and a vellum circle on which I embossed the sentiment. I adhered the vellum to a snowflake.

I used foam mounting tape under the image and pop-up Glue dots under the centre of the snowflake.

Inside, I added the other snowflake I die cut and a second sentiment from the set.
