Thank you

I kept this card very simple featuring Stanpin' Up and embossing.

Putting It Together

Most of the pictures I took were going to show a technique I decided not to use.

I planned to stamp and then mask off the area around the stamp to stamp other things 'behind' the stamping. To do this, I created a mask by tracing the rubber of the stamp and then fussy cut it out.

I stamped the large sentiment with VersaMark and embossed it with clear. On coloured cardstock, it makes a darker colour on colour glossy stamping.

I covered the stamping with the mask I made, using removable adhesive to secure it in place.

I st it up in my Misti to stamp smaller things around it and then... decided not to. Instead, I stamped a couple butterflies from the Eclectic set, but not crossing over the mask. I did, however, stamp them with ink in the same colour as the cardstock for a tone on tone card.

I added an additional pair of butterflies to the inside, double stamping the small one.
