Yummy, yummy for my tummy! Something sweet in a candy box with an adorable troll featuring a stamp set from Kraftin' Kimmie stamps, a box die from Tonic Studios, opulent cardstock from Sizzix, and Copic colouring.
My easel card features stamps from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, Copic colouring, drops from Nuvo, mica-pigment powders from Nuvo and Cosmic Shimmer, dies from Spellbinders, and embossing folder from Sizzix, and cardstock from Sizzix, DCWV, and Stampin' Up. Whew.
You're just my cup of tea! my card features a long retired stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie coloured with Zig markers and coupled with a sentiment from another Kraftin' Kimmie set and a die from Scrapbooking Booking Made Simple on Mystical Opulent cardstock from Sizzix.
Glittery, gilded sunbeams illuminate my thoughts of you. My card features a stencilled background using loose glitter and gilding flake, Copic marker colouring on the image, and an embossed die-cut sentiment. The stamp set, stencils, inks, and enamel dots are from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, the die and sequins from Simon Says Stamp, the glitter and gilding flake from Nuvo - Tonic Studios, and the embossing powder on the die-cut from Emerald Creek.
During the pandemic lockdown I have had more time to experiment with the Instant Pot we got a couple years ago as a gift from my sweetie's dad. I was fishing about on Google for recipes using chicken in the Instant Pot and stumbled on Beef Plov after a few meanderings. I tweaked it a bit over time and now it's my favourite thing with beef and rice and vegetables.
My beef plov inspired one pot dish, Rijacki's Plov, ends up being a bit like a beef stew but with rice instead of the broth. The recipe is inexact because I make it with "hmm.. a bit of this, a bit of that, more of that this time, less of this" with lots of options. It's a hearty meal for a chilly day.
For a bit of March green, I decided to make warm coffee card using a lovely stamp set and stencil from Sweet Sentiment, Drink Coffee and Woodland Mandala. I coloured the image using Prismacolour pencils and used Bundled Sage Distress ink for the stencil.
