Putting It All Together
Graphic 45 has this absolutely great collection called Hallowe'en in Wonderland that's a mash up of Alice in Wonderland and Halloween. LOVE it! I got a few 12" x12" sheets (my local store was mostly out *sniffle*) and have been waiting for the chance to use them. One of the sheets has 'note cards'. I cut the left most strips and the Queen out of the sheet.
I decided the queen would make a great quick shaker card.
Using a craft knife, I cut out the lined blank area to make my shaker window.
I added acetate (recycled from packaging) to the back of the Queen.
I cut black fun foam to make the shaker well, shaping the opening to be slightly bigger than the Queen's card. I glued this to the Queen.
I cut bronze Glitter Stock to back the shaker. I also cut a small card base from black card stock, the same size as the bronze panel. For the inside of the card, I added a strip from one of the two side strips of the 12" x12" sheet. Curiouser and curiouser.
I filled the shaker well with Halloween confetti from Micheals (it's been in my stash a while) and orange sequins.
I glued the bronze panel to the shaker to complete the card front.
I attached the shaker front to the card base to finish the card.
I added a sentiment to inside and another strip from the 12" x 12".
