Hufflepuffs Unite!

This card is inspired by the Harry Potter series and the Hogwart's Hufflepuff house. This is the house I keep getting sorted into whenever I take one of those quizzes *laugh* This card also has been inspired by the KKS blog Saturday challenge to use 3 dies or punches. I actually used 4 dies.

Supplies

Stamps:
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps: Miss Information and Elisha the Mage (sentiment)

Dies:
Spellbinders: Classic Postage Stamp Edgeabilities and Beaded Circles
We R Memory Keepers: Nesting Circle

Paper:
Bazzill Basics: Coconut Swirl Smoothies
DCWV: 6x12" Neutral Printed Cardstack
Simple Stories: 6x6" Life Documented
Recollections 65lb value cardstock
Yellow stripe 12x12" used as card base (clearance pack)

Ink and Colourants:
Chameleon pens
Most of the steps for this card were done while I as at a Crop for Haiti event at Clipperstreet in Lanley, BC. It was my first ever crop! I met some lovely ladies and had a wonderful creative day (and I really did try to not spend very much at the store... a candy store for papercrafters!).

This card began when I looked at the KKS stamp Miss Information and saw her using not a pointer stick but a wand. Pairing the image with a sentiment from Elisa the Mage gave it the extra magical touch.

I used three dies from Spellbinders, the largest of the beaded circle set and two from the classic postage stamp set. I also cut a circle using We R Memory Keepers nested circles to cover the centre of the beaded circle.

I coloured her with Chameleon markers and used a bit of Wink of Stella on her wand. I am rather happy with the colouring on her, especially her dress. But, I didn't have a good stamping surface at the Crop so the sentiment ended up a bit fainter than I wanted.

Overall I am pleased with this card and it fit to the idea that's been thumping in my head for a few weeks.
