Cake

Recently I saw a couple dutch fold cards and thought it might be a fun fold to try myself. So, going into this card I had a few things in mind for the design: dutch fold, circle, lace doily under the circle, and a fruitful paper. Everything else evolved while I was creating. Even the stamp I used wasn't one of the first things in my list, but Lisette does fit so perfectly.

This dutch fold card features a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp, Stampin' Up DSP (Designer Series Paper, another name for patterned paper), a doily die from Scrapbooking Made Simple, Distress inks with waterbrush, gems from Hero Arts, and an inside sentiment from Stampin' Up stamped with Simon Says Stamp ink. For more details, see the supply list below.

Jar of Summer Flowers

Summer time and a jar with flowers from the garden on the table to brighten the room and fill it with lovely scent.

The other day I picked up my recent Stampin' Up order from the new catalogue from my dealer.. err demo's house. One of the items I had ordered is the bundle Jar of Love with jar stamps and dies along with some other related shapes. I've been looking forward to getting a set like this for some shaker cards and other things.
