Sharing a beer with a friend is a good way to wrap up a day. I used alcohol inks and lift with Unity Stamp Co stamps to make my boozy card.
Putting It Together
I started picking up alcohol inks when I found them for inexpensive on sale or at a garage sale sponsored by a local scrapbooking store. I got some Yupo and cleared some time to play. I made a few panels for future projects.
I decided to try the lift ink with one of the panels. I can barely see where it lifted on the coloured panel. On the white cardstock where I stamped it, the colour got a little stronger after it sat a while but it was still a bit on the subtle side. But I do like the way it turned out.
I decided to use the background with the stamping I lifted from it. I used circle dies to trim the stamping and a matte from kraft.
I stamped a greeting with Stazon and added it all to a kraft card base.
Inside, I stamped another sentiment and added strips of scrap from the background panel to dress it up.
