A special delivery brought by a friendly stork flying through the sky. This card features a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps retired set, Distress ink watercolouring, stencilling, and Graphic 45 background paper.
Supplies
These are not affiliate links just the products I use and where you can find them, too (if they're not retired).
I got this stamp set a few weeks ago when Kim, of Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, held some online sales for long retired stamp sets she found while Spring cleaning the Krafty Kave.
Since I wanted to have stenciled clouds, I stamped on printer paper as well as the water colour paper.
I fussy cut the image on the printer paper to make a mask.
I used Distress ink to watercolour the image.
I then use removable adhesive on the mask and covered the image.
I used a Clarity brush with the cloud stencil brushing up from the stencil on to the paper. Varying the darkness of the ink adds dimension to the clouds and sky. I love making clouds like this.
And the image was done.
I used a pierced die to trim the image panel and added it to a background of Graphic 45 paper. I used a blending tool on the edges of the background paper to give it visual dimension.
Inside, I added a strip of scrap from the background paper and added a sentiment from the set.
