Dragon - Through the Craftroom Door, Prismacolor pencil

This week's sponsor for the Through the Craftroom Door blog challenge is Ike's Art.

Hi there – I am Ike……a nickname that I got hooked with many years ago due to my surname
I live in Greece and have a passion for kitties.
I am a bit crazy or should I say I’m ‘zany’ hahaha. I have a very strange/sick sense of humour and I must admit I spend a lot of time talking to myself. !! Well, I get more sense out of me.! I reckon in a few years I shall be known as the “crazy cat lady” ☺
I am an artist and have a strange mind when it comes to creating my art. I either go completely true to life… right down to the last hair… or I go totally surreal. I have a passion for all things horror/Gothic etc. I’ve always loved horror films and books and I guess that’s why it creeps into my stuff
My SHOP is IkesArt found at www.ikesart.com
My Blog is Ikes World and is at http://suzy-ikesworld.blogspot.com
My Challenge Blog is http://ikesworldchallengeblog.blogspot.com

Flamenco - Sheepski Designs, mixed media, Prismacolor pencil

I recently went to see a performance of Riverdance for a friend's birthday and the first appearance of the Flamenco dancer inspired me to create a piece using the lovely Flamenco from Sheepski Designs as my inspiration piece for the May blog challenge with the theme "Favourite Colour". Red is one of my favourite colours, so the dancer in red under the sun sang to my soul.

My mixed media piece features Prismacolour pencils on canvas board with Distress paint and foiled die cut sun. The frame has been embellished with die cutting and colours to heighten the red.

Come join us in the Sheepski Designs blog May challenge. Show us your favourite colours! https://sheepski-designs-challenges.blogspot.co.uk/
