It's always nice to have an affirmation card or two on hand for someone struggling with a major life event or decision. Life can be tough, but so are you. You've got this!
My card features Kraftin' Kimmie stamps and ink, embossing, and My Mind's Eye patterned paper with pops of pink.
Putting It Together
Thinking about some of the patterned paper in my stash, I remembered this lovely panel with foiled arrows. I thought it would be great paired with an uplifting sentiment which also features arrows. The pink came along for the ride.
I used the Misti to stamp on pink cardstock with the Rasberry Rose of the new Krafty Kolours inks from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. I like the tone on tone effect. I then stamped it again with Versamark and embossed it with pearl for a bit of dimension and shine.
I trimmed the sentiment and dry fit it with the arrow panel and a darker pink matting. The pinks look grand with the cream behind the arrows.
To finish off the edges of the sentiment strip, I used gold Nuvo glitter marker. The effect is very subtle but gives it a nice finished look.
I put the strip on the card with foam mounting tape and then used scissors to trim it flush with the sides of the card.
I added a hot pink pearl to the middle of the arrows for a bit of zazz.
Inside, I stamped the second sentiment with the same ink on the same pink and used a strip of the scrap from the arrows to tie it all together.
