A little mouse sharing berries with a little chickadee in a lovely wintery scene is a joy shared.
This card features a House Mouse and Friends stamp on Kraft with PrimaColor pencils, Graphic 45 paper, and a Kaisercraft sentiment.
Supplies
These are not affiliate links just the products I use and where you can find them, too (if they're not retired).
I decided to do a bit of coloured pencil on kraft for this project.
Following a tip on a video I watched recently (sadly I don't know which one so I can't give credit), I stamped with VersaMark on the kraft panel.
I got out my PrismaColor set and, with tiny flicks, I added the fur detail for the generous mouse. I was rather happy with how the mouse was looking so went on.
I coloured in the rest with the pencils.
The plain background was bugging me, so I tried using a stencil with pencils to add in clouds.
I had limited success with clouds in the background but did add snow to the tree branch (added before the clouds, actually, but I missed taking a picture). The light blue and white background does have a wintery feel, but I'm not 100% pleased with it.
While looking through my stash of patterned papers, I went to my lovely Graphic 45 Christmas papers. The stripes of one made me think of the challenge sketch for YNS so I decided to use that layout.
I used foam mounting tape to give the strips dimension.
Inside, I used scrap from the strips and stamped a sentiment that was fitting to the image.
