Do you want to make a snowman? They have great life advice. My snowmen and sentiments are from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and the pivot from a Lawn Fawn die set.
Putting It Together
There were two challenges that inspired this project, using a fun fold and using patterned paper. I also used images I coloured in November when I wanted to compare Arteza watermarker markers I just got with Zig watercolour markers I already had.
I coloured two of the images of the stamp set with Zig markers in two palettes. I also used a waterbrush and white Posta paint pen for accents.
The results? On the left are the Arteza and the right are Zig. The paper is the same for both. The purples were the only colours where I didn't have a close match. When I picked these up off my desk tonight to add to this project, I wasn't sure which one was which and used one of each. Only looking at the pictures I took before was I able to tell.
I decided I wanted to use the Pivot Pop-up that I had picked up last summer at a garage sale sponsored by a local scrapbooking store. I got quite good deal on it and had been wanting to get it for a while. But, this is my first time using it.
I decided I wanted to use the Crafter's Companion paper and found one for the pivot for the snowmen. The rest of the pad was a bit too dark in theme for my snowment so I looked through the rest of my stash. When I saw the moose, I thought of the movie... Do you want to make a snowman?
Inside, I used the Woodgrain sentiment to add a light woody look. I used the video from Lawn Fawn to put the card together and forgot to take pictures.
