A hot cuppa on a cold day with a friend is a lovely way to get warm. My inspiration card for the Through the Craftroom Door blog challenge features Hot Cuppa by Lemon Shortbread Art.
Lemon Shortbread Art carries high quality digital stamps and colouring pages for your crafting needs. If you like fantasy, fashion, cute and whimsical art, be sure to check Lemon Shortbread out!
The Through the Craftroom Door blog challenge is always Anything Goes. Come to join us this week, the prize is 3 digis from Lemon Shortbread Art.
Putting It Together
I have lots of different colouring mediums in my stash but use the alcohol markers the least. I thought this would be a good project to dust off the Spectrum Noir.
I printed the digi on Neenah 110lb paper using LibreOffice. In the upcoming TTCRD magazine, I will have an article showing how to use LibreOffice to resize, crop, and print digis (and I used this digi as my sample in the article).
I used a Spellbinders die to cut a window in a pearl cardstock panel then embossed it with a Darice folder, one of my favourites.
I framed the girl with her cuppa and dry fit her with a die cut sentiment from Simon Says Stamp in gold glittzy cardstock.
After I adhered everything to a white cardbase, I added iridescent rhinestones to the centres of the snowflakes for a bit of bling.
Inside, I used teal ink and stamps from Craftin' Desert Divas and Stampendeous to add a sentiment and snowflakes to the inside.
