My project today is a simple elegant thanks featuring Impression Obsession dies and stamps.
Putting It Together
Sometimes CAS (Clean and Simple) just feels right.
Fishing for an idea, I looked through my Impression Obsession dies and stamps. The stitched flower and leaf fit so well with the Thanks die.
I had the idea to use a plaid paper for the flower and then had to find a cloth type pattern for the leaf. For the sentiment, I went with a solid linen texture. For each element, I also cut 2 from white heavy cardstock.
I stacked each die cut to give them dimension before adding them to a kraft card base (switching from the white in my dry layout). I added a brown gem to the centre of the flower.
Inside, I used black ink to stamp a sentiment and flourish.
