Kickin' back and relaxin', just fishin' and chillin', my card features an image by Polkadoodles coloured with Koh-i-Noor pencils paired with fishy paper and a fishing pole embellishment.
Putting It Together
I love the look of coloured pencils on coloured paper. I like it even more than coloured pencils on white paper.
I used Koh-i-Noor pencils on grey-blue Mi Teintes paper.
I used a die to trim the image and added it to a fishy background with a fishing rod embellishment. It's a simple card, but cute in its simplicity.
Inside I stamped a sentiment perfect for a retirement card or any other reason to just go fishing and a fishing lure from Emerald Creek.

ReplyDeleteOh Kate, your colouring turned out beautifully! I have the Koo-I-Noor pencils, too, and love the vivid colours. They certainly show well against that coloured cardstock. Love the little fishing bear and the paper you've used in the background. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
ReplyDeleteCute, love how you used the paper and embellishments!
