Kit & Clowder is celebrating having reached 20,000 members of the Facebook group!! Joining in celebration, Sheepski Designs is offering a freebie! Andrea created Liz with balloons to join in the celebration.
For my inspiration card, I made Liz into a birthday card. I used Prismacolor pencils on kraft and embellished with a die cut from Simon Says Stamp. Inside I used a sentiment from Unity Stamp Co and balloons from a Kraftin' Kimmie set.
To get this Freebie for yourself, go to the Kit 'n' Clowder page: .

Putting It Together
I had been having printer problems so I wasn't sure I was going to be making anything with this image. To test some maintenance on my printer, I printed on a kraft paper of which I have quite a bit. Then, on a whim, I decided to do some colouring on the kraft.
I used Prismacolor pencils and kept track of all the colours I used. Sheesh, quite the list! I had only intended to do part of the colouring on Sunday night but was enjoying myself so much I finished it.
I trimmed the panel and added some white Uniball to the eyes and Wink of Stella to the balloons for a subtle sparkle.
I did a dry layout with a white card base and a die.
I used the die to cut black and gold glitter cardstock. I used the Xyron to add adhesive to the die cuts.
Leaving the black on the backing, I layered the gold over with a slight offset for a shadow.
I put the die cut on the image panel and trimmed the edges before adhering the image to the card base.
Inside, I used a sentiment from Unity Stamp Co and a balloon from a Kraftin' Kimmie set.
