Possibilities - watercolour resit

Almost 6 years ago we moved to Canada when my day job relocated me to the main office in British Columbia. We have been blessed by our move here.

My card uses a maple leaf from a Unity Stamp Co set along with sentiments from other Unity sets. The leaf is coloured using an embossing resist with watercolours from Neocolor.

Putting It Together

British Columbia is gorgeous. We live near Vancouver and the views here are incredible. Mountains to one side and the ocean with channel islands to the other.

I stamped the leaf just off the side of a panel of watercolour cardstock and embossed it with pearl. I scribbled the red Neocolor crayon on a bit of plastic packaging.

I sprayed the watercolour crayon liberally with water and used a waterbrush to fill in the leaf.

The watercolour resists the embossing leaving the pattern.

I used a Tim Holz deco sheet as the matting for a bit of sparkle. I used a sentiment from another Unity set stamped with black.

I used a sentiment from one of the grab bags I bought from Unity and added a scrap of the deco sheet for a pop of colour.
