Flowers - colouring 3D embossing

I went to the stampin' gather hosted by my Stampin' Up demonstrator, and she showed us the pre-order Gotta Have It All bundle for the upcoming release and colour revamp. We got to play with the new pretties (and some of the current ones, too). She didn't have a planned make and take but let us create with our own inspiration.

One of the items in the bundle is a dimensional embossing folder, Lovely Floral. While we were chatting about the bundle and the upcoming colours, my demonstrator embossed a small panel of Grapefruit Grove to show the wonderful detail the folder embosses. I decided to use her sample embossing and try something. I took out my Stampin' Up watercolour pencils and coloured the flowers in the embossing. I rather like the way it turned out. I can't wait, though, to see more watercolour pencils added to the Stampin' Up palette.

I backed the embossed and coloured panel with one of the lovely papers from the Share What you Love specialty designer series paper. I really like the heavier weight of the paper in this set. I can see using it in a variety of projects. I matted the patterned paper with Rich Razzleberry, one of the returning colours, and used Cajun Craze, current and continuing colour, as the card base.

Inside, I used more of the same patterned paper for a lovely inside detail and a panel of Whisper White. I stamped a sentiment from the Love What You Do set with Rich Razzleberry.

It was a lovely relaxing evening, stamping and chatting and creating.

The pre-release bundles will be available to order on 1 May. I can't wait to see the new catalogue at our gather in May. I'm sure there will be new pretties and toys that will be so very tempting.
