A card for my wonderful in-laws who love little spotty dogs as a thank you for hosting us for the eclipse (picture of the totality if you read on *grin*).
Tim Holtz Crazy Dog coloured with watercolour pencil on a stenciled background with a Prima Market stencil, Deco Art crackle paste, and Cosmic Shimmer paired with a Perfect Pearls sentiment from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.
Supplies
These are not affiliate links just the products I use and where you can find them, too (if they're not retired).
I've been on vacation but it wouldn't be a vacation if I couldn't do stuff I love, too. So, I brought some supplies along with me. I brought several pre-stamped or printed images to colour with watercolour pencils and waterbrushes, a few background I had done as "experiments" at home, and some die cuts that didn't fit the projects I originally made them for.
We went to Missouri to spend time with my in-laws and watch the eclipse. I made this card as a thank you to my in-laws for their hospitality and everything else.
Totality!! Picture taken by my brother in law.
We were kicking back on my in-laws' farm in one of the fields to watch the eclipse. Experience of a lifetime!

After the eclipse while we were socialising and waiting for the hamburgers to grill, I used the several rat terriers around me to model for my colouring on the 'crazy dog' (my in-laws have a few rat terriers, they're down to only 10 now *laugh*). I used watercolour pencils and water brush. my fav on-the-go, no room to craft, medium.
Back at the hotel, I paired the doggo with a background I made earlier and brought with me.
I used a stencil to apply crackle paste to a watercolour paper panel and allowed it to dry thoroughly (overnight). I had used washi to anchor it to my work surface for the stenciling and to give it a small margin on the edges.
I used Cosmic Shimmer Chocolate Bronze to cover the panel and bring out the nuance of the crackle paste and stencil.
I added the doggo to the panel with foam mounting tape and made a sentiment panel with scrap watercolour paper and Perfect Pearls Cappuccino.
Inside, I added a continuation sentiment and a couple of the items from the Crazy Dog set.
