Chanukah - die cutting

I'm not Jewish, but the Chanukah, Festival of Lights, has always intrigued me. I think it is a lovely memorial and celebration. My card features a die from Impression Obsession on paper by Photo Play.

Putting It Together

After I found the Menorah die on a sale, I decided to try to make at least one Chanukah card each year.

I found this background paper last year and through it quite lovely. I die cut the Menorah from silver glitzy cardstock. I don't speak or read Hebrew so I had to double check several times that I didn't put the lettering upside down.

To add dimension, I die cut the Menorah twice from heavy cardstock to stack with the silver glitzy.

I added teardrop shaped rhinestones as sparkly flames. I decided to have all the flames lit for the last night of the Festival. I left the inside blank for a personal sentiment.
