Putting It Together

I'm on vacation visiting family and making cards, in the hotel room, when we're not visiting. I brought along a selection of supplies but don't have anything for die cutting or heat embossing, both of which would have been very handy for this card.

I wanted to have a background of words from the BoBunny pad so I cut a panel for the front and a strip for the inside. I also cut a matting of the red sheet from the Mercury Glass fstack (I brought a few sheets with me).

I fussy cut an oval, stamped it with Perfect Medium, and brushed on Confetti White Perfect Pearls. I would have embossed this instead, if I had my full workshop supplies and tools. The print shows up with the light but is subtle otherwise. I ran the edge of the oval along the silver Brilliance pad to add a thin line. 

I adhered the foiled and word panel directly to the card base and popped up the oval with foam mounting tape.

I added the strip to the inside of the card and a complimenting sentiment in green.
